GB Controls manufactures a range of temperature monitoring and datalogging control systems built on RDM technology, to give the user complete flexibility in defining their monitoring parameters. We offer systems with 6, 8, 10, 14 or up to 56 temperature probe channels, as standard. Each system has a common alarm volt-free output for connection to a 3rd party system and the facility to connect to an IP network, for remote access and alarm notification by email.
Logged data can be accessed and interrogated via a web browser interface, either locally or remotely via the internet. The system can log temperatures down to -40°C, as often as every 15 seconds, and data can be exported to a comma separated values (CSV) file for analysis and presentation, via other software platforms.
The GBSM-120 is a GSM/GPRS text message controlled temperature monitoring system, with 2 digital inputs and a 1-wire interface to connect up to 4 temperature or temperature & humidity sensors. With the addition of a SIM card, the control panel connects via the mobile network and can be used to remotely monitor cold room parameters. SMS text message or email alerts can be sent on input state change or on temperature alarm.
The temperature sensor integrates a band-gap temperature sensor element, as well as signal processing for a fully calibrated digital output. This digital signal processing allows accuracy as low as ±0.5°C. Furthermore, the sensors can measure temperatures in the range from -40 to +85°C (-40 to 185°F). The GBSM-120 can also be configured to periodically send data to a remote server, which makes it suitable for use in client-server applications for data logging coldroom parameters.
