8 Channel Temperature Data Logger

The GB Controls 8 Channel Temperature Data Logger provides a powerful and flexible solution for monitoring and recording temperature across multiple points. With support for up to eight probes, it enables comprehensive tracking of coldroom conditions and generates detailed real-time trend graphs through its built-in web server. Logged data can be downloaded in .CSV format for further analysis or transferred directly via USB for convenience.

The unit allows users to configure probe names, alarm thresholds, and delays through the web interface, while advanced settings such as IP configuration and logging intervals can be managed via the integrated HMI. Designed with an IP65-rated enclosure, mains power, and volt-free alarm outputs for integration with BMS systems, it offers both robust operation and seamless data accessibility.

  • Monitors up to 8 probes for multi-point temperature tracking.
  • Web-based interface with real-time graphing and .CSV data export.
  • Built-in HMI for advanced setup, SD card management, and USB transfer.
  • Adjustable alarms and delays with volt-free outputs for local/BMS integration.
  • IP65-rated enclosure with mains power for reliable operation.

Personnel Safety Alarm

The GB Controls Personnel Safety Alarm (PSA) is a high-integrity, fail‑safe system designed to raise an immediate alert if someone is trapped in a walk‑in coldroom or freezer. Supplied as a kit (PSA unit, illuminated coldroom pushbutton with stainless‑steel guard, and external beacon/sounder), it provides a robust, self‑checking safety layer built for harsh environments.

Dual‑channel processing continuously supervises the system and exposes faults via monitored alarm and fault relays. An integrated 95 dB beacon/sounder, 10‑hour battery backup for mains failures, connections for up to 2 coldroom buttons, IP65 housing, and status/alarm LEDs round out a dependable, compliance‑ready package (see BS EN 378‑1:2016 Annex D).

  • Fail‑safe, dual‑watchdog design with monitored alarm and fault relays.
  • Integrated 95 dB beacon/sounder plus external beacon/sounder with connection monitoring.
  • Up to 2 coldroom pushbuttons with supervised wiring (≤30 m).
  • 10‑hour battery backup to remain operational during mains failures.
  • IP65 enclosure; 85–264 Vac supply; status/alarm LEDs
  • Available as kit GBC2000‑PSK

Coldroom Door Open Alarm

The GB Controls Door Open Alarm alerts staff when a coldroom door is left open, helping cut unnecessary energy use in line with Cold Chain Federation benchmarking and reducing risks from temperature rise during prolonged openings.

It offers two configurable time ranges (0–30 or 0–10 minutes), two independent door inputs, and compatibility with NO/NC switches and PNP inductive proximity switches. Door/alarm LEDs provide clear status, while a relay output can drive external systems. An IP65 enclosure, 85–264 Vac supply, low power consumption, and an optional yellow or blue illuminated sounder  complete a simple, reliable install.

  • Timed alert windows: 0–30 or 0–10 minutes.
  • Two independent door switch inputs (NO/NC & PNP proximity supported).
  • Relay output on door‑open or alarm with door/alarm LED indication.
  • Adjustable alarm intensity with coloured illuminated sounder.
  • IP65 enclosure, 85–264 Vac, low power consumption for efficient operation.

Digital Auto Change‑Over Panel Range

The Digital Auto Change‑Over Panel Range automates seamless switching between two independent refrigeration systems on an alternate duty cycle. Change-over is achieved automatically by either a pre-set time, condensing unit fault (if connected), temperature alarm or manually by the door mounted selector switch.

Built to high standards in steel cabinets, these panels support full coldroom control or evaporator-only installations, controlling cooling  according to temperature and load balancing logic.

By automatically alternating between systems, these panels not only optimise system efficiency and service intervals but also reduce wear on equipment and offer redundancy. They are especially beneficial in mission‑critical applications where downtime is unacceptable.
